Telangiectasia

• Visible persistent dilation of small, superficial cutaneous blood vessels.
• Telangiectasias will blanch because the color (“redness”) is due to increased blood flow.

• 

  Telangiectasias with surrounding atrophy secondary to topical steroid overuse.

• 

  Fine telangiectasias on the cheek.

• 

  Telangiectasias associated with rosacea.

• 

  Radiating telangiectasias typical of a spider angioma.
